I believe that, if you are going to own fabric upholstery, slipcovers are the only way to go and Four Seasons Furniture makes one of the best slip-covered products in the industry. They have a myriad of styles, hundreds of fabrics and each style comes with a wide variety of piece options and pillow configurations. The possibilities are endless. The slipcovers themselves are also made in pieces so you are not struggling to get your cover back on after washing the cover. Four Seasons Furniture slip covered  sofas are also extremely well constructed with a coil spring construction and they are made in North Carolina, never imported. Aesthetically, they are not quite as tailored as a fully upholstered sofa, but in the long run, they are healthier, changeable, and in my opinion a much better investment and I for one like the causal look. The Healthy Sofa
Did you know the average upholstered sofa has over 2,000,000 dust mites, as well as a host of allergens and dust? The Wife and I had a gorgeous, fully upholstered Lee Industries sofa and love seat in our family room, but our daughter, Kate could not sit on the sofa without getting sick.

Kate, like so many kids today has a dust mite allergy and, no matter what we did to our Lee sofa, we could not remove the little visitors. I cleaned it, steamed it, and did just about everything you can do, but to no avail. When she sat on the sofa her symptoms got much worse, sneezing, runny eyes and feeling just plain miserable.

We purchased a washable Four Seasons Furniture Slip Covered  sofa. This  sofa, on the other hand, is easily cleaned. It always looks good and, if we get tired of the look we can buy a new cover. I know it sounds crazy but this slip covered sofa made an incredible change in Kate’s health and snappiness. Not only for Kate but for the entire family.

When the time came to replace the sofa and chairs in our living room, we again chose a Four Seasons Furniture slip covered set. We found this to be a much better investment. Our slip covered set is now 5 years old and still looks like new. The fabric is easily washable and hence, we don’t have the problem we had with our fully upholstered set.
